Montgomery County police are looking for a couple accused in the theft of two diamond rings from a jewelry store in North Bethesda, and they are asking the public for information about their identities.

Detectives have released photographs of the male and female suspects.

On Dec. 16, about 2:10 p.m., two suspects, a black male and black female, entered the Masica Diamonds store located at 11763 Rockville Pike.  While the female suspect posed as a customer and distracted the store employee, the male suspect stole two diamond rings from a display case.  The rings have a combined value of over $20,000.

Anyone with information about this crime in the photographs is asked to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
